How the bulk carrier lookup works
Add your numbers
Paste them one per line, or upload a .txt or .csv file. Write each number with its country code, e.g. +14155550123.
Run the lookup
Each number is matched against its country's numbering plan. Nothing is sent to the numbers: no one is called or messaged.
Filter and download
Narrow the results by country, line type, carrier or validity, then download every row or only the filtered ones as CSV.
What you get for each number
Number
The number in international E.164 format, e.g. +14155550123, ready to import anywhere.
+14155550123Country
The country the number belongs to, with its flag and name.
United States
Line type
Mobile, landline, VoIP, toll-free or premium rate, as the numbering plan defines the range.
MobileCarrier
The operator the number's range was given to, such as Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile.
T-MobileLocation
The city or region the range is tied to, where the plan records one.
San Francisco, CAValid
Whether the number can exist in its country's plan. Invalid lines are kept in the results, so nothing disappears.
Valid
Carrier is based on number ranges; a ported number may show its original operator.
FAQ
Bulk carrier lookup questions
The free allowance, the files you can upload, and how far to trust the carrier.
Is the bulk carrier lookup really free?
Yes. Every visitor gets a free allowance of numbers each day, shown above the box. No account and no card are needed.
How many numbers can I check at once?
As many as your free allowance for the day, up to 20,000 in one run. A longer list is checked up to that point, and the page tells you so; sign up to check whole lists.
How accurate is the carrier?
The carrier comes from the number ranges each operator was given. A number ported to another operator still shows the one that first held its range, so treat the carrier as a strong hint rather than proof.
Does the lookup contact the numbers?
No. Nothing is dialled, texted or messaged. The answer comes from numbering data alone, so the owners of the numbers never know.
Which files can I upload?
A .txt file with one number per line, or a .csv file. From a CSV, the column headed phone, number or similar is read, or the first column when no header matches.
Can I download the results?
Yes. Download every row, or only the rows your filters leave, as a CSV file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.
How do I find out which numbers use WhatsApp or Telegram?
That needs a live check, which the paid checkers do. Sign up, send your list to a checker and download which numbers are registered. See the prices on the Pricing page.
Want to know which of these numbers are on WhatsApp or Telegram?
Sign up and send them to a checker. It tells you which numbers are registered, ready to download.
