RCS upgrades plain SMS with images, buttons and read receipts, but only on numbers whose phone and carrier support it. Checking first lets you send rich messages where they render and fall back to SMS everywhere else, without guessing.

ご利用の流れ
番号を 1 行に 1 つずつ、プレーンな .txt ファイルとして保存します。すべての番号に国番号を付けてください。
チェッカーを選び、ウェブサイトでファイルをアップロードするか Telegram ボットに送信して、見積もり金額を確認します。
チェックが終わるとすぐに結果ファイルを受け取れます。各項目に結果が付き、結果ごとの件数も表示されます。

They can. Apple added RCS in iOS 18 where the carrier supports it, so an iPhone number may now come back capable. The result reflects the number, not the brand of phone, and it will not tell you which device is in use.
No. It tells you who can receive RCS. To send, you still need an approved business agent through an RCS messaging provider, and that provider applies its own rules on content and countries.
No. It means a rich message would not display on that number, so plain text is the right format. Those numbers still receive SMS as usual, and the file gives you what you need to send each group the version it can read.
